At FrieslandCampina Ingredients we seek a Technical Expert to support the Early Life Nutrition segment for our Proteins and Lactose portfolio. You have a technical background, experience with dairy proteins, and commercial sense. Preferably ELN B2B, but B2C infant formula, medical nutrition, or protein experience also fits. You are the first point of contact and translate customer needs into relevant solutions.
What we ask:
- You have proven experience in product development or technical support to customers in a B2B in preferably Early Life Nutrition or eventually Adult Nutrition environment or product development in proteins for food.
- You have built thorough product knowledge on Dairy Proteins.
- You have built and have proven experience with picking up of new technical expertise in a timely matter, work in structural way and have good analytical skills.
- You have strong communication skills and are customer-focused (or willing to learn), able to act with speed and decisiveness to achieve the best results and like to work and are resilient.
- You have experience working in cross-functional teams, are a team player, and can also work independently.
- You have a Master’s or Bachelor degree in Food Technology or a technical related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience.

Employment benefits:
• Salary between €4,550 and €6,000 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
• A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.

Job description:
• Act as the main technical contact for the milk and whey proteins and lactose portfolio and extensions for Early Life Nutrition segment.
• Own and continuously develop technical expertise within the portfolio, ensuring knowledge is captured and shared effectively across teams.
• Translate ingredient, application, and process knowledge into practical solutions for (Key) customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide tailored technical support to customers and help ensure that product and process changes are implemented smoothly and successfully.
• Lead the technical translation of changes within our manufacturing network and factories towards customers, with a strong focus on flawless implementation.
This position is part of the Technical Sales Expert team within FrieslandCampina Ingredients, located in Wageningen. The team consists of Technical Sales Specialists (TSS) and Application Development Specialists and is embedded in the Global TSS organization and part of the Global FCI Development organization.You will collaborate closely with colleagues across our global TSS network, which includes regional teams and application centers worldwide. The environment is dynamic, international, and cross-functional, with strong connections to customers, colleagues of different disciplines and external network.
