As a Customer QA Specialist, you are the key link between Customer QA Managers, the production site in Veghel, and internal stakeholders regarding customer-related quality topics. You ensure that customer requirements are effectively translated into plant operations and that products consistently meet quality, food safety, regulatory, and customer expectations.
What we ask
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within food, ingredients, or FMCG
- Proven experience in a QA role
- Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Analytical, structured, and result-oriented mindset
- Affinity with digital tools and data-driven working
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in English; Dutch is considered an advantage

- Employment benefits:
- Salary between €3900 and €5100 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role;
- A workweek of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme;
- Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way);
- 200 hours of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 hours;

Vacancy Description
-Act as the key Quality partner for Customer QA Managers and the production site in Veghel, ensuring alignment between customer needs and operational capabilities.
-Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, product specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
-Proactively advise management on quality and food safety risks related to products, processes, specifications, and change implementations, enabling informed decision-making and minimizing business and operational risks.
-Maintain and review customer-related quality documentation and specifications.
-Collaborate closely with Customer QA, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, R&D and PGM to resolve quality-related issues and ensure alignment across functions.
-Represent Quality in innovation, change, and product development projects, ensuring customer requirements are embedded throughout development and implementation.
-Analyse customer feedback and quality performance data, and translate insights into sustainable improvements to products, processes, and ways of working.
You work effectively across a complex stakeholder landscape to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and strong customer quality performance. This role reports to the QA Manager at our production site in Veghel, with a dotted-line to the central Customer QA team in Amersfoort.
