Job Description Header: 

The EHS Safety Lead plays a key role in supporting a safe and compliant manufacturing environment by assisting in the execution of health, safety, and environmental programs. This role partners with operations to drive safety awareness and continuous improvement. 

Job Description: 

Position Type: Full-time, Hourly or Salaried Non-Exempt 

Reporting To: EHS Manager 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs 

  • Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments 

  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective action tracking 

  • Monitor compliance with OSHA, GMP, and company safety standards 

  • Provide safety training, onboarding support, and toolbox talks 

  • Track safety metrics and maintain accurate documentation 

  • Promote hazard reporting and proactive safety behavior across the site 

  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams 

  • Assist in emergency response planning and drills 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • High school diploma requiredAssociate or Bachelor’s degree preferred 

  • 2+ years of experience in EHS, safety, or manufacturing environment 

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices 

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
