FrieslandCampina is seeking an EHS Safety Lead to help drive a proactive safety culture across our manufacturing operation. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with employees and leaders to identify risks, strengthen safety awareness, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives that protect our people, products, and environment.

Stellenbeschreibung: 

As the EHS Safety Lead, you'll serve as a key resource for site safety programs and compliance efforts. You'll work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Leadership teams to support a safe, responsible, and high-performing manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Support the implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, behavioral observations, and risk assessments
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, GMP requirements, and company safety standards
  • Deliver safety training, new employee onboarding, and toolbox talks
  • Track and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Champion hazard identification and proactive reporting throughout the facility
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen safety performance and accountability
  • Support emergency response planning, preparedness activities, and drills
  • Help drive a culture where every employee takes ownership of safety

What You'll Bring

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • 3+ years of EHS, safety, manufacturing, or industrial experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Effective problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Passion for influencing positive change and continuous improvement
