Are you passionate about turning insights into growth strategies? We are hiring a Team Leader Demand Planning. In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the monthly forecasting process from unconstrained to constrained demand to ensure an efficient, disciplined, and effective S&OP process.
- Own the statistical baseline forecast and partner with Business Units on demand uplift assumptions to achieve targeted forecast accuracy and improve demand planning performance
- Follow up the weekly & daily demand & supply balancing to ensure high customer service
- Comply with all Company policies and requirements related to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE)
• Lead demand planning process:
- Champion the monthly forecasting process across stakeholders within the S&OP cycle, ensuring forecast accuracy, process discipline, and alignment with business objectives.
- Drive demand planning insights by identifying forecast risks and opportunities, constructive challenging business assumptions to improve forecast robustness and accuracy.
- Prepare monthly reports and S&OP presentation
• Implement and maintain forecasting models:
- Own and drive the statistical baseline forecast by leveraging historical data, market trends, and the OMP forecasting system.
- Provide insights and constructive challenge to commercial teams on incremental volume assumptions derived from Building Blocks.
- Consolidate baseline and incremental forecasts into a single, aligned demand forecast to support business planning and decision-making.
- Implementation demand forecasting system (OMP), maintenance and daily operations.
- Responsible for 18-mont-rolling forecast on SAP/OMP system for monthly Demand Publish and Weekly Supply Network Planning following given dead-lines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
- Work closely with commercial team, customer service team and supply planning team to drive the weekly demand and supply balancing process to ensure high customer service levels and optimized inventory & cost
- Act as a trusted business partner by providing data-driven analysis, including ABC classification, portfolio analysis, scenario planning, and simulations, to generate actionable insights and support business decision-making.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement Projects to improve SC and functional performance
• Support strategic decision-making: provide insights and recommendations on demand planning strategies and supply chain optimization.
• KPIs management & Reporting: forecast accuracy, forecast bias, OTIF, inventory levels, other relevant metrics to identify areas for improvement and sharing to all stakeholders.
• Conduct regularly Fundamental Forecast Training to stakeholders, newcomers.
• Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
The employee must meet the following minimum job requirements to successfully perform the job:
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Expertise in demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP processes.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Proficient in excel, Power BI, and data analytics tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 2+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
