The role As a Corporate Affairs Intern, you will support the BG Asia Corporate Affairs team on fast-moving communications and public affairs work. You will help develop sharp, high-quality content for senior leaders, strengthen our issues monitoring and bring practical AI-enabled ways of working into the team.

You will work closely with the Head of Asia Public Affairs and Communications and collaborate with colleagues across dynamic markets and functions.

Job Description:

What You Will Do

Content and leadership communications

· Support creation of senior leadership content, including short videos, simple infographics, presentation visuals and internal posts

· Help with storyboarding, scripting, basic editing and packaging content for internal platforms (e.g. Asia newsletter, EDMs, staff socials)

· Convert complex topics (nutrition, sustainability, policy) into clear, audience-friendly formats through compelling storytelling

Issues monitoring and research

· Track policy, regulatory, NGO and media signals across Asia and summarise what matters, why it matters and what to watch next

· Support upkeep of monitoring trackers and dashboards

· Produce short research notes for briefs, stakeholder engagement and narrative planning

AI-enabled ways of working

· Use generative AI responsibly to accelerate first drafts, synthesis, tagging and summarisation, with strong fact-checking discipline

· Help design simple automations for recurring tasks (eg monitoring digests, content repurposing, meeting note synthesis)

Team support

· Support briefings, meeting preparation, notes and follow-ups for regional priorities and external engagements

· Provide general coordination support for internal communication initiatives

What We Ask

· Undergraduate in Communications, Public Policy, International Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Data or a related field

· Strong writing skills and an eye for clarity, structure and tone

· Comfortable creating simple, polished visual content (eg PowerPoint, Canva, basic video editing)

· Curious about public affairs, business issues and how external developments impact companies

· AI-savvy, willing to learn quickly and able to use tools responsibly (accuracy, confidentiality, source discipline)

· Well organised, reliable and comfortable working with sensitive information

What We Offer

· Hands-on exposure to regional Corporate Affairs developments, including strategic communications and government relations, in a dynamic industry

· Mentorship and practical development in leadership communications, issues monitoring and stakeholder thinking

· Opportunity to build a portfolio of real work across video, visual storytelling and strategic briefs

· A collaborative team and a role with visible impact
