Are you an experienced project manager who can lead complex innovation projects across functions, business units and geographies? To strengthen our position and fulfil our growth ambition in Specialised Nutrition, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager. You will manage product and packaging innovation, renovation, compliance, contingency and value engineering projects within the Premium, Super-premium and Ultra-premium categories. Working with colleagues across Europe and Asia, you will ensure projects are delivered on time and in full, while managing timelines, budgets, quality and risks. With your commercial mindset, you understand the business impact of project decisions and bring this perspective to the team.

What we ask

• A Master’s degree, preferably in life sciences, nutrition, food technology or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management with at least 5 years with a commercial focus, preferably within an international FMCG, food or nutrition environment.
• Strong cross-functional project leadership skills, with the ability to communicate, influence and lead virtual teams across geographies, functions and business units.
• Commercial savviness and analytical thinking to understand the business impact of the project scope, requirements and decisions, and to anticipate issues and risks.
• Strong stakeholder management and organisational sensitivity, combined with the ability to facilitate conflict resolution and maintain focus on project deliverables.
• A drive for results, combined with resilience and agility, and experience with stage-gating, project documentation, reporting and risk management.

Employment benefits:

• Salary between €6,550 and €8,900 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
• A work week of 32 to 40 hours, 15% company performance-based bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.

Vacancy description

As Senior Project Manager Innovation, you will be part of the Project & Portfolio Management Department within Specialised Nutrition. You will be responsible for the on-time-in-full delivery of projects, managing timelines, budgets, quality and risks to achieve the required results.

You will lead cross-functional project teams and work closely with colleagues in medical marketing, marketing, sales, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Research & Development and Supply Chain across Europe and Asia. Through regular and purposeful engagement, you ensure that team members remain aligned and motivated and that all workstreams deliver as planned.

You will develop workable project and programme structures for initiatives that are new to Specialised Nutrition and involve different business groups. You monitor milestones, report on progress and establish appropriate risk management and mitigation plans. When issues or conflicting interests arise, you facilitate resolution and keep the project focused on its objectives and deliverables.

You will also manage changes resulting from a constantly evolving external environment, such as regulatory developments, through strong team engagement and process optimisation. You will work according to the FrieslandCampina project management way of working, including the appropriate stage-gating, documentation and reporting processes, while continuously looking for opportunities to improve.

You will operate as Project Manager within the Project & Portfolio Management Department for the Specialised Nutrition Business Group. The department implements the Product Portfolio Strategy across the Premium, Super-premium and Ultra-premium categories in our operating countries.

You will join an international and dynamic working environment where you can make a visible difference by successfully implementing complex innovations and changes. You will report hierarchically to the Director Project Management. The position is based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
