Employment benefits:

• Salary between €6,550 and €8,900 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.

Vacancy Description 

As Senior Finance Controller Ingredients Go-to-Market, you are the financial co-pilot for the Whey Sourcing & Trading business, partnering closely with the Senior Sales Manager and commercial team to drive performance, profitability, and value creation. You combine end-to-end P&L responsibility, commercial finance leadership, and strategic business partnering with a strong focus on data-driven decision making. Through robust performance management, business insights, and continuous improvement initiatives, you help optimize commercial and operational decisions and support the realization of FrieslandCampina Ingredients' growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
•    Act as the financial co-pilot to the Senior Sales Manager Whey Sourcing & Trading (WS&T) and team, driving business improvements, contract negotiations, and realization of the strategic agenda.
•    Own the WS&T P&L, including the valorization of feed and trading flows of BG Ingredients side streams and the supply of Lactose to the DFE joint venture.
•    Drive financial performance by challenging commercial decisions, identifying value creation opportunities, and translating strategy into financial outcomes.
•    Monitor complex supplier agreement negotiations and commercial discussions to ensure correct pricing, indexations including alignment with external partners. 
•    Leverage a strong understanding of Ingredients business processes and product portfolio to support valorization decisions, network optimization initiatives, and strategic business cases.
•    Lead the finance agenda in operational committees with customers and external partners, driving operational and financial improvement programs.
•    Run and continuously improve WS&T finance operations, including MBRs, Outlook cycles, budgeting processes, and management reporting, in close collaboration with the Financial Reporting & Planning team.

In addition, you contribute to the Commercial Excellence agenda and drive business performance through data-driven decision making by:
•    Developing, implementing, and monitoring commercial and financial KPIs, including contract coverage, contract consumption, distributor performance, and customer segmentation.
•    Supporting sustainable growth across Platinum, Gold, and Silver customers through strategic account planning, optimized resource allocation, and performance insights.
•    Enabling strategic resource prioritization through business impact assessments and data-driven insights.
•    Driving transparency and performance management through dashboards, analytics, and management information.
•    Championing a data-driven culture across FrieslandCampina Ingredients by translating business needs into actionable insights and supporting AI-enabled solutions.
•    Leading the adoption of digital tools and new ways of working that enhance decision-making, efficiency, and organizational performance.
