We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Senior Buyer to join FrieslandCampina Romania, a key player within the Global Supply Chain business group. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence and optimise procurement processes that support our business objectives and drive operational excellence.

As a Business Procurement Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships and contractual negotiations to ensure the best value and alignment with FrieslandCampina's high-quality standards. You'll work collaboratively across multiple departments to foster efficient sourcing practices, mitigate risks, and promote sustainable procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and operational goals.
• Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and management processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
• Negotiate and manage contracts to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, finance, and production to anticipate demand and streamline purchasing workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes through data analysis and performance metrics.
• Support sustainable and responsible sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with FrieslandCampina’s corporate social responsibility values.
• Manage and mentor procurement team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.

About You:

You bring a strong background in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG sectors. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills are essential to succeed in this role. You are confident managing complex supplier relationships, driving best practices, and delivering value through strategic procurement.
