As Project Engineer, you will lead and deliver engineering projects that improve operational performance, manufacturing capability, safety, quality, and sustainability. You will play a key role in driving capital investments, technology upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

As Project Engineer, you are part of the Engineering team and are responsible for managing engineering projects from concept through implementation. In this role, you will work closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, SHE, and external partners to ensure successful delivery of projects that support business growth and operational excellence.

You will be involved in developing project scopes, managing timelines and budgets, coordinating stakeholders, and overseeing installation and commissioning activities to ensure engineering solutions deliver sustainable business value.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead engineering and capital investment projects from feasibility study, design, and planning through execution and handover.
• Develop project scopes, technical specifications, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project activities with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, SHE, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Manage equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and start-up activities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, risks, costs, and timelines while implementing mitigation actions when required.
• Ensure projects comply with safety, food safety, quality, environmental, and engineering standards.
• Identify and implement process, equipment, and facility improvements to enhance manufacturing performance and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of engineering best practices and project management methodologies.

What we ask

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Capital Project Management.
• Experience within FMCG, food, dairy, pharmaceutical, chemical, or process manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, utilities, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and engineering problem-solving techniques.
• Strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to be based in Cikarang.

You will join the Engineering team at our manufacturing site, working closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, SHE, and external partners to deliver projects that enhance manufacturing capabilities, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager and support the successful execution of strategic engineering initiatives across the organization.
