The EHS Safety Lead plays a key role in supporting a safe and compliant manufacturing environment by assisting in the execution of health, safety, and environmental programs. This role partners with operations to drive safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Reporting To: EHS Manager
Key Responsibilities:

Support implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs

Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments

Assist with incident investigations and corrective action tracking

Monitor compliance with OSHA, GMP, and company safety standards

Provide safety training, onboarding support, and toolbox talks

Track safety metrics and maintain accurate documentation

Promote hazard reporting and proactive safety behavior across the site

Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams

Assist in emergency response planning and drills
Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred

2+ years of experience in EHS, safety, or manufacturing environment

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
This role is part of the EHS team and works closely with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to support a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance across the site.
