- Accountable for produce, maintain and improve single-plant site: production execution, coordination, control, quality, safety, cost and workforce.
- Accountable for plant site results and year budget.
- Responsible for license to operate.
- Responsible for entire operations on site and also towards external parties like community, regulatory bodies etc.
- Responsible for legal and local government topics as relating to the factory operations

1. Production
Result Area(s):
- Ensures the integration and translation of demand plans into adequate production plans and develops and maintains a production organization (including operational planning, continuous improvement programs, and engineering), in order to ensure cost efficient production of the agreed products.
2. Quality
Result Area(s):
Implements and ensures the execution of quality policies for the Plant, in line with the OpCo strategy and corporate, external quality and legal requirements, in order to provide quality assurance for the production process and deliver high quality products to customers
3. Cost Price Management
Result Area(s):
- Ensures the determination of cost prices based on the alignment of the detailed production planning to the demand plans, within the OpCo strategy and corporate guidelines.
4. Budget Control
Result Area(s):
- Controls the budget(s) of the Plant, takes corrective actions when necessary, and ensures adequate reporting, to ensure that the departments deliver their budgets.
5. Human Resources Management
Result Area(s):
To manage the human resources management process, in compliance with the FrieslandCampina Human Resources Management policy, resulting in the desired organizational structure, culture and workforce.
6. Technical Engineering
Result Area(s):
- Ensures proper functioning of technical engineering of the Plant with less short stop/breakdown and improved FTR, in order to ensure cost efficient production of the agreed products.
7. Project management
Result Area(s):
- Deliver new and improvement project on time and in budget.
8. Plan
Result Area(s):
- Ensures efficient S&OP and Detailed Production Scheduling processes for the Plant, in association with the supply chain department, in order to ensure cost efficient plan of the agreed products and the timely delivery of the products to (internal) customers.
9. Delivering the sustainability agenda
Results Area(s):
- Deliver on improvement projects
- Improve the amount of waste produced by the factory
- Decrease the footprint of the factory
10. Make the factory future prove
Results Area(s):
- Build a masterplan
- Keep track on the development and succession of people
- Implement state-of-the-art processes to stay in front of competition
