Vacancy Description

As the Sustainability & Investor Relations Lead at Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad, you will undertake a pivotal leadership role in advancing our sustainability strategy and enhancing our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) governance. Reporting directly to the Corporate Affairs Director, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Director, senior leadership colleagues, and cross-functional business units to embed sustainability deeply into corporate strategy and everyday decision-making processes.

Your role will encompass the design, implementation, and continual refinement of our sustainability roadmap, ensuring full alignment with Bursa Malaysia’s regulatory requirements, the NSRF, and international ESG best practices. You will take charge of improving the rigour and quality of sustainability disclosures featured within the Integrated Annual Report, while coordinating cross-departmental efforts to elevate ESG initiatives across climate change adaptation, sustainable packaging, responsible sourcing, nutritional impact, social responsibility, and operational resilience.

You will work in close partnership with Finance, Legal, Audit, Risk, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Human Resources, Commercial divisions, as well as FrieslandCampina’s regional and global sustainability teams. This collaboration aims to bolster governance frameworks, enhance reporting accuracy, and ensure our enterprise-wide preparedness for evolving stakeholder and regulatory expectations.

In addition to driving sustainability efforts, you will lead the strengthening of investor relations by crafting credible ESG narratives tailored for analysts, investors, and governance forums such as the Annual General Meeting. Your insights will help position sustainability as a key enabler of business strength and competitive differentiation. Regular engagement with senior leadership, governance bodies, regulators, and external partners will require you to translate complex sustainability and business challenges into actionable, pragmatic solutions that support transparency, trust, and long-term value creation.
