The Senior RTR Accountant leads daily Record-to-Report (RTR) operations, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and SLA requirements. The role proactively manages issues, drives continuous process improvements, and fosters strong cross-functional relationships.
Serving as a key point of contact for specialist teams, the position ensures effective coordination, timely resolution of matters, and high-quality service delivery.

- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.

Scope of Responsibilities
- Coordinate workload and closing activities within the specialist accounting team (Intercompany focus) to ensure timely and accurate execution
- Act as the main operational and tactical contact, as well as key user for RTR specialist accounting processes
- Handle and resolve complex process escalations across the RTR function
- Analyze and evaluate RTR specialist processes, recommending and driving process improvements
- Develop and standardize specialist accounting processes to ensure consistency and compliance
- Identify process bottlenecks, provide improvement recommendations, and support implementation
- Coordinate and implement complex internal and external process changes in line with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Ensure alignment of specialist accounting processes within FSSC and across GBDS and related functions
- Prepare and coordinate periodic and ad hoc (SAP) specialist reports, including those required for regulatory and statutory purposes
- Perform in-depth accounting analyses and develop performance indicators to support decision-making
- Monitor and report financial and non-financial KPIs, including SLA performance to OpCos
- Provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities through regular and ad hoc reporting
- Ensure alignment of financial processes with broader business operations and accounting guidelines
- Support and participate in internal and external finance-related projects, ensuring adherence to project management standards
