The FP&A (Planning & Reporting) Manager holds a key finance position as the right hand to the Finance Director. The FP&A manager owns the monthly planning and reporting process and is in the driver seat for the forecasting and budgeting process. As the organization is a listed company this also includes supporting Bursa Stock exchange reporting and BOD presentations. Reports to the Finance Director and manages a team of 2.
- Performance Management: Drives development of the FP&A department to secure people growth and succession planning. Visibly leads value creation and brings multi-functional teams together to deliver on opportunities identified and goals.
- Business performance: Drives improvement in Free Cash Flow and find opportunities within Balance Sheet. Actively manages monthly cash flow and balances by working closely with Collection and Payment teams. Leverages tools to improve business processes and gain insights to improve business performance.
- Financial planning & analysis: Leads the monthly/quarterly reporting and forecasting process (P&L and Cashflow) to ensure timely and accurate submission of financials to HQ/ DLMI Board. Coordinates and prepares the strategic and financial plans and forecasts in accordance with global and regional guidelines. Leads the development of plans for other costs (e.g. SG&A) in close collaboration with the heads of function (budget owners). Provides strategic support and analysis to Finance Director in the areas of financial operations.
- Stewardship / Compliance: Coordinates and reviews Bursa (stock exchange) quarterly reporting, Annual Report and Annual General Meeting (AGM). Coordinate the annual external audit process (EY) and act as key finance liaison with external auditors. Support management of tax, regulatory, and compliance risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Acts as steward for company and actively engages organisation on internal controls.
Key Requirements:
- Professional Accounting qualification and/or Degree in Finance. Solid knowledge of IFRS/MFRS.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in managerial level.
- Experience within FMCG, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, or other fast-paced commercial environments preferred.
- Broad business experience, e.g. fulfilled Finance roles in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and/or FP&A.
- Preferable has worked in a Bursa listed company before and understand the requirements.
- Solid SAP and Hyperion knowledge.
