We are looking for a results-driven Customer Development Manager to manage supermarket key accounts and chilled distributors, drive sales growth, and build strong customer relationships within the FMCG industry.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts in the supermarket channel and chilled distributors through regular visits, effective communication, and problem-solving to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Drive sales growth by identifying business opportunities, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring product availability.
• Monitor sales data and market trends to support informed decision-making and business growth.
• Plan and execute promotional activities, ensuring effective merchandising and maximizing product visibility.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns.
• Develop a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align strategies and achieve common goals.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to ensure seamless operations.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Sales or Customer Development within the FMCG industry, preferably with experience in managing local key accounts and distributors.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with key clients and communicate their requirements to internal teams.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple key accounts and meet customer and distributor expectations in a timely manner.
• Possess own transportation and be willing to travel for business visits.
