Tiêu đề mô tả công việc:  The IT CMDB & Software Asset Management (SAM) Process Manager is accountable for governing, designing, and continuously improving the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Software Asset Management processes.The role ensures accurate configuration data, software compliance, cost optimization, and alignment with IT Service Management (ITSM) and enterprise governance frameworks.

  • CMDB Process OwnershipDefine and maintain the Configuration Management process aligned to ITIL practicesEnsure CMDB data integrity, completeness, and accuracy across all Configuration Items (CIs)
  • Establish CI classes, attributes, and relationships (service mapping, dependencies)Govern CI lifecycle (creation, update, retirement)
  • Drive CMDB adoption across IT and business stakeholders
  • Software Asset Management (SAM) GovernanceOwn end-to-end SAM lifecycle: request → procurement → deployment → usage → renewal → retirement
  • Ensure software license compliance and mitigate audit risksManage vendor licensing models (e.g., subscription, perpetual, SaaS)
  • Optimize software spend through usage analysis and rationalization
  • Oversee software audits and true-up activities
  • Data Quality & Compliance Define and enforce data quality standards, KPIs, and audit controls
  • Conduct regular CMDB and software asset auditsImplement reconciliation rules and normalization standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal policies
  • Tool & Platform Management Own CMDB and SAM tooling (e.g., ServiceNow CMDB, SAM Pro, discovery tools)
  • Drive automation (discovery, reconciliation, license tracking)Manage integrations with ITSM, procurement, finance, and cloud platforms
  • Stakeholder & Governance ManagementCollaborate with IT Operations, Security, Architecture, Procurement, and Finance
  • Facilitate governance forums (e.g., CMDB review board, SAM governance council)
  • Provide reporting and insights to leadership (risk, compliance, cost optimization)
  • Continuous ImprovementIdentify process gaps and implement improvements
  • Benchmark against ITIL, ISO 19770 (SAM), and industry best practices
  • Drive maturity roadmap for CMDB and SAM capabilities
  • Key Deliverables CMDB data model and governance frameworkSoftware license position (Effective License Position - ELP)
  • Compliance and audit reports Service mapping and dependency models
  • Process documentation and SOPsKPI dashboards (data quality, compliance, cost savings)
  • Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of ITIL (Configuration & Asset Management)
  • Expertise in Software Asset Management frameworks (ISO 19770)
  • Experience with ServiceNow CMDB & SAM or equivalent platforms
  • Data governance and data quality managementVendor licensing and contract interpretation
  • Analytical and financial optimization skills
