We are seeking a commercially driven individual to support channel and category growth across DLMI categories through data analysis, execution excellence, and cross-functional coordination. This role works closely with the Channel and Category Manager to develop winning channel strategies, drive Perfect Store initiatives, and identify growth opportunities through strong market and shopper insights.
Job Responsibilities:
To drive profitable sales and category growth within and across DLMI categories in the channel by:
- Execution support: Helps implement promotions, product launches, and campaigns
- Data analysis: Prepares reports, tracks performance, and identifies trends
- Coordination: Works with internal teams to ensure plans are carried out smoothly
- Research: Gathers competitor and market information
- Administrative tasks: Forecast updates, presentation preparation, and documentation
- Together with the Channel and Category Manager, ensures our products win in the category and grow in the focused channels, while growing profitably for both the company and retail partners
- Designs how brands win in the assigned channels and grow categories by translating consumer, shopper, and customer insights into winning commercial strategies
- Leads Perfect Store initiatives and facilitates the four-step process: define, execute, measure, and learn to drive continuous improvement
- Identifies channel-specific opportunities and strategies at a total DLMI level (i.e., cross-category), based on an in-depth understanding of the channel’s unique objectives, growth strategies, needs, and target shoppers
- Translates these opportunities and strategies into channel plans by category, including point-of-purchase (POP) activation plans, and customised promotional programmes and assortments where appropriate
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial roles within an MNC environment
- Experience in Key Account Management, Trade Marketing, or Brand Management, with basic knowledge of trade marketing, category management, customer/channel segmentation, and shopper insights
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and market intelligence into actionable insights and plans
- Independent and proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of delivering results within deadlines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, fluent in English, and open to travelling as required
