As a Culinary Specialist you will have a key role to develop the brand & products awareness in the French HoReCa channel (both independent and chains) using your culinary skills and know-how. In this position you will be part of the FrieslandCampina Professional French team, our passionate Marketing team of 5 people (including a Pastry advisor) and an international team member of peer chefs.
The Culinary Specialist position is based in Paris region area (Le Kremlin-Bicêtre 94).
What we ask:
- Bac Pro level minimum
- More than 5 years of experiences in HoReCa as a chef, affinity for pastry
- Strong expertise in savour cooking and desserts, bakery applications, dairy-based solutions, and menu development
- Experience delivering demonstrations, workshops, or culinary trainings is highly desirable
- Knowledge in basic IT tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Fluent French & good level (minimum B2) of English (both written & spoken)
- Agility/flexibility on hours & working days (some demonstrations/fairs during weekend)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Commercial awareness and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to inspire and influence chefs, customers and commercial teams
- Valid driving licence, willingness to travel frequently around France

Culinary Expertise & Customer Support:
- Act as the culinary expert and ambassador for FrieslandCampina
- Inspire chefs, pastry chefs and foodservice professionals through innovative applications and menu solutions
- Develop recipes, concepts, and applications that demonstrate the value and versatility of FrieslandCampina products
Commercial & Customer Development:
- Support the sales team in developing business opportunities with distributors, wholesalers, key operators, culinary schools, and chain customers
- Participate in customer visits, presentations, workshops, and business development activities
- Help build long-term relationships with key customers and foodservice influencers
- Contribute to customer retention and acquisition through culinary expertise and value-added support
Brand Activation & Marketing Support:
- Support Marketing team to develop sales tools and content for Horeca channel (Offline & online content) into creating culinary inspiration and selling stories for brochures, magazines and social media
- Support local activation of marketing campaigns and product launches
- Create engaging culinary content for customer presentations, social media, digital platforms, and trade publications
- Represent FC at industry events and relevant Horeca exhibitions
Innovation & Trend Translation:
- Monitor foodservice, dessert, and gastronomic trends
- Translate market insights into relevant culinary concepts and business opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Innovation teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs
- Test and validate new product concepts and applications
Training & Capability Building:
- Deliver product and application training to customers, distributors, and internal teams
- Support onboarding and continuous development of sales teams through culinary education
- Develop training materials, recipes, and best-practice guidelines
Key Performance Areas:
- Increase engagement and preference for the FC brands among Horeca professionals
- Support commercial growth through culinary expertise and customer collaboration
- Build strong relationships with key operators, distributors, culinary schools, and industry influencers
- Identify and implement relevant culinary trends and innovation opportunities
- Strengthen the culinary competence of customers and internal stakeholders

The Culinary Advisor role is to support the global business. As part of the Marketing Team, he/she works closely with the International Culinary advisors community, Sales & Marketing departments and key internal & external stakeholders to increase brand awareness, brand credibility and physical distribution of FrieslandCampina products.
