As Manager Product Group Management, you lead a team of Product Managers and are responsible for driving profitable growth, portfolio competitiveness and strategic value creation across the product portfolio. You translate business strategy into product group strategies, drive portfolio optimization and value-based pricing, and ensure strong execution of product life-cycle management and innovation initiatives. In this role, you act as a key link between Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance to maximize business performance and customer value.
What we ask
- Academic / Master education level
- 12+ years of relevant experience in product management, portfolio management, marketing or commercial strategy.
- Strong B2B commercial experience, ideally combined with experience in Supply Chain, R&D or Operations.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial drive and the ability to turn strategy into execution.
- Proven people leader, able to coach and develop teams in a complex international corporate environment.
- Strong strategic, analytical and financial skills, including experience with business cases, pricing strategies and profitability scenarios.
- Align supply chain capabilities with business needs to support growth, fulfill future demand, and deliver operational excellence.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to translate strategy into execution and drive cross-functional alignment.

Employment benefits:
- Salary between €7,700 and €10,450 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.

Vacancy Description
In this role, you lead and develop a team of six Product Managers responsible for profitable growth, portfolio competitiveness and strategic value creation across the product portfolio. You translate business strategy into product group strategies and ensure strong execution of portfolio management, value pricing, product life-cycle management and innovation initiatives.
You define and drive the overall product group strategy in line with business objectives, translating market, customer, regulatory and competitive insights into clear strategic priorities. You lead portfolio optimization, including investment, growth, maintenance and divestment decisions, with a strong focus on long-term profitability and sustainable growth.
You lead value-based pricing strategies and profitability improvement initiatives across the portfolio. You ensure robust business cases for portfolio investments, pricing decisions and innovation projects, and coach Product Managers in building and evaluating these.
You manage product life-cycle decisions and ensure a healthy, future-fit portfolio. This includes overseeing changes in specifications, packaging and documentation, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and supporting the resolution of issues related to product quality, availability or performance.
As a people leader, you create a high-performance culture focused on ownership, collaboration and accountability. You build capabilities in strategic thinking, portfolio management, pricing, project leadership and stakeholder management, while fostering employee engagement and team effectiveness.
