What we ask
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Proven experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, Material Planning, or a similar supply chain role, including S&OP and medium- to long-term planning processes;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of inventory management, production planning, and capacity planning;
- Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems; SAP and SAP APO knowledge are strong advantages;
- Proactive and adaptable professional with excellent stakeholder management skills, fluent in English; French language skills is a pré, international mindset, and willingness to travel are considered strong assets.

Employment benefits:
- Salary between €4,550 and €6,000 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
- A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.

Vacancy description
For our Supply Planning team in Leeuwarden, we are looking for a Supply Planner responsible for the Côte d’Ivoire portfolio. In this role, you will lead the mid- and long-term supply planning process and play a key role in ensuring supply reliability across the entire supply chain. An important aspect of this position is supporting the transition of Supply Planning activities from Côte d’Ivoire to Leeuwarden. You will work closely with local teams and stakeholders to transfer knowledge, standardize processes, and establish a sustainable, system-driven planning approach. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on both operational performance and the future supply planning organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the 18-month rolling supply planning cycle for the Côte d’Ivoire portfolio;
- Develop and maintain long-term production, material requirements, and imported finished goods supply plans;
- Establish and manage production capacity and storage capacity plans to support business needs;
- Ensure the availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods while optimizing total supply chain costs;
- Balance customer service requirements, inventory levels, production constraints, and material availability;
- Proactively identify supply risks, potential shortages, and capacity constraints, and coordinate mitigation actions;
- Coordinate phase-in and phase-out activities for new and discontinued products;
- Monitor and improve key supply planning KPIs, including inventory levels, stock cover, ageing stock, slow-moving inventory, production planning conformance, and supply reliability;
- Prepare and facilitate Supply Reviews, Demand & Supply balancing discussions, and Executive S&OP meetings;
- Provide clear visibility of supply risks, opportunities, and required decisions within the S&OP process;
- Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and master data quality within planning systems;
- Drive a system-based planning approach, reducing dependency on manual Excel-based planning;
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management, planning processes, tools, and ways of working.
In this role, you will have direct responsibility for the supply planning of an important international portfolio. You will work across multiple supply chain areas, from production and material planning to imports, inventory and S&OP.
In addition, you will be closely involved in the transition and further professionalization of Supply Planning for Côte d’Ivoire. You will have the opportunity to help shape the new planning organization in Leeuwarden and contribute to reliable data, standardized processes, system-based planning and continuous improvement.This is a role for someone who enjoys combining operational ownership, analytical planning, stakeholder management, change and process improvement in an international environment.
