Head of Corporate Affairs is responsible for ensuring compliance against applicable regulations & standards, product registration, facilitating regulatory authorities in periodic surveillance, and devise holistic strategies for FCEPL in tandem with CD’s goal of winning in-markets. The job requires strong & close coordination with leadership team (through regulatory committee) and different departments including Marketing, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and MPAS. Head of Corporate Affairs is also responsible to assist Director Corporate Affairs and internal stakeholders in tackling non-commercial external landscape i.e. food legislation & regulations, nutrition & food safety, relevant external stakeholder engagement / endorsement, positioning FCEPL as thought leader, and category development & amplification to achieve Corporate Affairs Goals in more efficient & effective way. To ensure smooth business operation through stakeholder management Scope of this position is Punjab Province. This includes support to Dairy/Ice Cream Business. Head of Corporate Affairs’ stakeholders include all provincial regulatory authorities, Punjab Government-all relevant provincial ministries (interior, livestock, Food, commerce, women affairs etc.), All Media houses, Federal Government Policy Makers and Police Department along with local district administration (36).

Vacancy Description:
- Ensure compliance against applicable regulations & standards within the entire product portfolio in all aspects (i.e. recipes & end-product composition, labelling, marketing)
- Product registration with regulators and facilitate periodic surveillance
- Share expertise and provide constructive input to help regulators in formulating regulations
- Position FCEPL as part of solution to address NCDs related issues
- Devise holistic strategies for FCEPL in tandem with CD’s goal of winning in-markets
- Proactive engagements with stakeholders (regulators, policymakers, government departments, development partners) for influencing business related government policies/ law and strategies
- Proactive engagements with associations (PDA, PAFI, NAP, PSFST, PMA, PNDS etc.), academia / universities, research centers/labs (i.e. PCSIR), scientific fraternity for effective voice in scientific panels & technical committees
- Create level playing field for demand generation of packaged milk through proactive engagement with academia & scientific community
- Attend conferences/seminars and meetings with regulators, scientific institutions / universities, associations, and development partners for advocacy of FCEPL agenda
- Coordination with internal stakeholders to support the cost reduction through supporting FCEPL dairy development initiatives and supporting product development against applicable regulations
- Work with internal stakeholders (R&D and marketing) to improve recipes and products tailored to NCDs and to ensure FrieslandCampina GNS compliance
- Communicate regulatory information and provide technical assistance & scientific evidence to multiple departments within / outside FCEPL as per requirements
- Manage scientific affairs activities by working with R&D institutions, scientists, and universities through MoUs, internship programs, arranging events (seminars, conferences, expo, workshops, etc.)
- Understand and analyze regional/global/local developments & dynamics in the regulatory areas and report trends to internal stakeholders
- Risk assessment / trackers for regulatory changes, and prepare Regulatory Affairs risk mitigation plan and "Enterprise Risk Assessment (ERA)"
- Monitor and analyze competitive activities and strategy for compliance, ethics and fair-play and report to Regulatory Committee for action/strategy to remove non level playing field
- Compiling and disseminating competitive information within the company to relevant internal stakeholders
- Engage with FBR and other tax authorities to influence tax policy and manage refunds and payments.
- Work closely with local and international NGOs’ for dairy development programs
- Proactively engage all external stakeholders and government agencies on company’s different initiative for community development
- Anticipate issues and make robust plans through proper coordination with government agencies to ensure smooth business operation
- To maintain relations with all Media houses and secure company’s positive image throughout the media industry
