The Head of Business Procurement Thailand is the end-to-end Procurement business partner for FrieslandCampina Thailand and the Samrong site, and a member of the Thailand Leadership team. The role translates business strategy and operational demand into an integrated procurement roadmap and leads the local execution of global, regional and local sourcing, value creation, supplier performance and supply resilience initiatives across direct and indirect spend. As a people manager, the role leads, develops and enables the Thailand Business Procurement team. The job holder sets clear priorities and performance expectations, builds the team’s capabilities, ensures effective allocation of work and creates an accountable, collaborative and inclusive working environment. The role also provides leadership to the Regional Category Buyer responsible for the MRO and Facility Management portfolio across BG Asia.
What We Ask
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to join FrieslandCampina (Thailand) Public Co Ltd as the Head of Business Procurement for Thailand within the Global Supply Chain Business Group. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or hold equivalent professional experience. You will bring at least 10 years of comprehensive procurement experience in complex, international environments, with robust exposure across both direct and indirect materials and services.
Proven leadership capabilities are essential, as you will be expected to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team by translating strategic priorities into clear objectives, managing performance diligently, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ownership.
Experience in business partnering and strategic sourcing is vital, ideally within FMCG, food, dairy, or manufacturing sectors. You should have a proven record in driving value through savings initiatives, margin enhancement, supplier performance management, and mitigating supply risks. Influencing skills are key since working across cultural and organisational boundaries and shaping demands without sole reliance on formal authority form an integral part of this role.
Fluency in professional English is required; familiarity with the Thai language and strong knowledge of the Thailand supplier market are highly advantageous, supporting effective communication with local and ASEAN suppliers and senior stakeholders.
What We Offer
Joining FrieslandCampina Thailand means becoming part of a globally recognised organisation committed to excellence in supply chain and procurement functions. You will lead a dynamic, innovative procurement team and have the opportunity to drive meaningful impact through strategic sourcing, value creation beyond cost, and sustainability initiatives.
We offer an inclusive and collaborative work environment where your expertise and leadership will directly contribute to business growth and operational excellence. You will engage with senior management locally and regionally, acting as a critical business partner to influence decision-making and drive the company’s strategic priorities.
There is strong support for professional development, including capabilities to manage complex projects, lead supplier innovation, and utilise fit-for-purpose digital procurement tools. Our commitment to responsible sourcing and continuous improvement ensures that your efforts help build resilient, sustainable supply chains while fostering career growth opportunities within an international context.
