In the Global Supply Chain Traineeship, you will experience different parts of this chain, starting in one of our plants in your first rotation and growing into one of our global functions in your second rotation.

Hard requirements  

• 0-2 years of work experience 
• Strong academic background from a relevant university 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a supply chain-related field 
• Fluent in English

Vacancy description 

As a Global Supply Chain Trainee, you will work with different teams to improve organizational, technological and analytical processes. You will contribute to ensuring that the right products are delivered to the right places at the right time and at the right cost. 

This three-year program offers you the opportunity to develop your leadership and technical skills through two diverse rotations. You might step into roles such as Team Leader in the packaging department, Demand Planner at our headquarters, or a planning-related role at one of our production sites. After completing two challenging roles, you will have built a strong foundation in supply chain, business understanding and managerial competencies for your future career. 
 

Example rotations 

Continuous Improvement Project Manager  

In this role, you will support improvement projects within one of FrieslandCampina’s production locations. You will help analyze processes, identify opportunities to work more efficiently and contribute to initiatives that improve performance, quality and sustainability. 

Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist  

As a Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist, you will work on strategic supply chain topics that connect different markets, functions and production locations. You might support projects related to network design, planning optimization, cost-to-serve improvements or global supply chain performance. In this role, you will use data and business insights to identify opportunities, shape recommendations and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to improve how our supply chain operates globally. 

You will join a global trainee cohort with talents from different functions, countries and backgrounds. Together, you will be part of an energetic learning community where you can exchange ideas, share experiences and build a strong network across FrieslandCampina. In your day-to-day role, you will be supported by your team and line manager, while the broader trainee community gives you the opportunity to learn from different perspectives and discover how our business comes together across the globe.
