The Finance Analyst role is critical in ensuring consistent, accurate and timely reporting for Management, while also providing value-added insights into the consolidated results.
Job Responsibilities:
Performance Management
• Support the Planning & Reporting team in preparing financial reports and tracking business performance.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve profitability and achieve business goals.
• Help develop tools and processes to enhance business insights and decision-making.
Business Performance
• Monitor cash flow and collaborate with teams to improve collections and payment processes.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Utilize benchmarks and technology to streamline processes and reduce lead times.
• Promote financial awareness and support teams in understanding key financial metrics.
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Assist in monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting for P&L and cash flow.
• Support the preparation of budgets and financial plans in collaboration with various departments.
• Monitor costs (e.g., SG&A) and support budget owners in managing expenses effectively.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities to support business growth.
Stewardship / Compliance
• Co-manage tax and other compliance-related risks.
• Act as a steward of the company by actively engaging the organization on internal controls and compliance practices.
Job Requirements:
• Professional accounting qualification and/or a degree in Finance, with solid knowledge of IFRS/MFRS.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in an FMCG environment, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Broad business experience across Finance roles in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and/or Planning & Reporting.
• Prior experience in a Bursa-listed company is preferred, with a good understanding of its requirements.
• Customer- and consumer-centric mindset with the ability to develop strong outside-in perspectives.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Hyperion systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
