What You'll Do
As a Filtration Operator, you'll safely operate and monitor advanced membrane filtration systems while ensuring every product meets our high standards for quality, food safety, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialized filtration equipment used to process dairy ingredients
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and product concentrations throughout production
- Make routine process adjustments to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency
- Complete production records, batch documentation, and quality checks accurately
- Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they impact production
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting and communicate operational concerns promptly
- Perform Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) procedures and sanitation activities according to established standards
- Follow all food safety, quality, environmental, and workplace safety requirements
- Support continuous improvement efforts and team production goals
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food, dairy, beverage, ingredient, or similar process manufacturing environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- Ability to follow written operating procedures and food safety requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and a dependable work ethic
- Basic computer and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating filtration, evaporation, separation, or other liquid-processing equipment
- Experience working in GMP, SQF, or other regulated food manufacturing environments
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experience
- Technical, vocational, or industrial training related to manufacturing operations
- Experience monitoring automated production systems and process controls
