Truck Driver – Finished Goods Delivery (Reefer)
As a Truck Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our finished dairy products, including whey protein and cheese, to customers and distribution centers.
You’ll operate refrigerated and/or dry van equipment, making sure every load gets where it needs to go safely, on time, and in the condition our customers expect. Along the way, you’ll play an important role in protecting product quality, maintaining proper temperature controls, and following all company, safety, DOT, and food-handling requirements.
It’s more than getting behind the wheel, you’re one of the final connections between the products we make and the customers we make them for.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be trusted to get our finished products where they need to go safely, on time, and in the condition our customers expect. That means taking care of your truck, your load, and the details that keep every delivery running smoothly.
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver finished dairy products to customers and distribution centers.
- Keep deliveries on schedule while communicating any delays or issues along the way.
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections to make sure your truck and equipment are safe and ready for the road.
- Load and unload products using the appropriate material-handling equipment.
- Double-check shipments against bills of lading (BOLs), invoices, and delivery paperwork to make sure every customer gets exactly what they’re expecting.
- Maintain accurate DOT-required logs, including hours of service (HOS), mileage, and other required documentation.
- Monitor product condition and temperature throughout transport, especially when hauling temperature-controlled loads.
- Follow all DOT, safety, food-safety, and company requirements from pickup through final delivery.
- Represent FrieslandCampina well with our customers through reliable, professional, and helpful service.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid CDL with all endorsements required for the equipment you’ll operate
- At least 3 years of commercial driving experience; food-grade or refrigerated hauling experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with refrigerated equipment and temperature-controlled transportation is a plus.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Someone who takes safety, reliability, product quality, and customer service seriously.
