Truck Driver – Whey Pickup & Delivery (Tanker)

As a Truck Driver for FrieslandCampina, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of liquid whey and other dairy by-products between our customer locations, processing facilities, and delivery sites.

You’ll operate our specialized tanker equipment, so you’ll need a valid CDL with a tanker endorsement. Just as importantly, you’ll play a hands-on role in protecting product quality, keeping your equipment and loads safe, and making sure every pickup and delivery meets our safety, regulatory, and company standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is about more than just getting from Point A to Point B. You’ll be trusted to safely transport our product, take care of your equipment, and make sure every load gets where it needs to go safely and on time.

• Safely operate tanker trucks to pick up and deliver liquid whey between customer locations, plants, and other facilities.
• Keep pickups and deliveries on schedule while communicating any delays or issues along the way.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and make sure your truck and equipment are safe and ready to go.
• Load and unload whey using pumps and hoses, following proper sanitation and food-safety procedures.
• Keep accurate DOT-required logs, including hours of service (HOS), mileage, and delivery information.
• Keep an eye on product temperature, condition, and quality throughout transport.
• Clean and sanitize tanker equipment to maintain the high hygiene standards that come with transporting food products.
• Follow all DOT, safety, environmental, food-quality, and company requirements.
• Speak up quickly if you run into a mechanical issue, delay, incident, or product-quality concern.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid CDL with tanker endorsement
• At least 3 years of commercial driving experience; tanker experience is strongly preferred.
• A clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Previous food, dairy, or liquid-hauling experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Someone who takes safety, product quality, and doing the job right seriously.
