We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality and food safety function within our manufacturing facilities. This role ensures that all products meet customer expectations, comply with regulatory requirements, and support a strong “quality always” culture across operations.
Oversee all aspects of food safety, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance programs within the facilities. Key responsibilities include managing HACCP, auditing (e.g. SQF, FDA, Kosher/halal and customers audits), Quality control (both internal labs management as outsourcing with trusted with external labs), product registrations, raw material quality, deviation investigations, CAPA, crisis management readiness, and quality reporting.
This role partners closely with operations, technology, supply and sourcing and the commercial teams as well asand suppliers to ensure the highest product standards and continuous improvement across all processes. The Manager of Quality also leads and develops the QA/QC team, drives a strong quality culture, and ensures full compliance with requirements.
What We Ask

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related field.

Minimum 6 years of quality leadership experience in dairy or food manufacturing.

Expertise in whey processing, cheese production, milk protein functionality, and related technologies.

Strong understanding of GMPs, SSOPs, HACCP, SQF/BRC, FSMA, FDA, and USDA regulations.

Experience leading audits, CAPAs, root cause analysis, and quality systems development.

Ability to lead and develop Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Team Details
This role is an integral partner of the WWP leadership team, leading the Quality team ensuring teamwork, accountability, and engagement.
The role is based in Darlington where you directly steer the local QA/QC team. The quality lead of the Turtle Lake location also reports into this role.
This role reports hierarchically into the SC operations director and functionally into the business group overarching QA/RA director.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $110,000 and $130,000. Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including years of work experience, education, training, and other considerations permissible by law.
