Job Description Header: 

We are seeking a results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations within our plant. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient equipment performance while driving continuous improvement and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

As Maintenance Manager, you will plan, direct, and oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective programs. You will ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and food quality standards while optimizing equipment reliability and plant performance.

Job Description: 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading maintenance operations for production equipment and plant utilities (e.g., boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, water systems)
  • Managing maintenance planning through CMMS and analyzing data to reduce failures and improve performance
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and reliability optimization
  • Ensuring compliance with GMP, food safety, and regulatory standards (OSHA, FDA, USDA, etc.)
  • Managing budgets, spare parts inventory, and supplier relationships
  • Leading maintenance projects and capital investments to support plant growth and innovation

This role plays a critical part in supporting production performance, ensuring operational continuity, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key aspects of the team structure include:

  • Direct leadership of maintenance technicians and external contractors
  • Responsibility for performance management, training, and capability development
  • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain
  • Acting as a key partner to operational leadership to ensure plant reliability and efficiency

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong stakeholder management, leadership, and the ability to operate effectively in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
