What we Ask

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline
  • 6–10 years’ experience in sales, preferably within FMCG, with strong exposure to distributor and territory management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth across regions
  • Strong experience in distributor management, field sales force leadership, and retail execution
  • Good understanding of sales planning, forecasting, and route-to-market strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in digital tools, reporting, and business insights generation
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage budgets, credit risks, and deliver operational excellence

Vacancy Description

  1. Sales Planning:
    Develops and executes regional sales business plans aligned with company objectives. Leads the sales team to achieve volume and value targets while implementing effective distribution strategies. Builds and drives joint business plans with key customers to deliver agreed KPIs.

  2. Distributor Management:
    Manages distributor operations to ensure alignment with company standards across warehousing, financial health, and sales execution. Oversees day-to-day distributor activities including sales tracking, inventory and data management, while proactively managing credit risk.

  3. Field Sales Force Management:
    Leads, coaches, and motivates the field sales team to deliver optimal performance. Sets targets, evaluates performance, and drives capability development through continuous coaching and training initiatives.

  4. Market Monitoring:
    Tracks market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the territory. Generates insights and provides accurate sales forecasts to align supply with market demand.

  5. Territory Management:
    Implements sales plans across channels to maximize market potential. Conducts regular market audits, ensures effective retail execution, and builds strong retailer relationships while managing regional budgets and expenses.

  6. Reporting & Business Analytics:
    Provides timely and accurate reports on sales performance, distributor stock, and market insights. Leverages digital tools and data analytics to generate actionable insights and improve decision-making.

  7. Continuous Improvement & Management Information:
    Identifies process inefficiencies, evaluates bottlenecks, and drives improvements to enhance sales and operational effectiveness. Delivers periodic and ad hoc reports to support business decisions.

  8. People Management:
    Leads and develops the regional sales team through performance management, coaching, and talent development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  9. Relationship Management:
    Builds and maintains strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and external stakeholders to support business growth and operational success.

  1. Knowledge Development:
    Keeps abreast of industry trends and drives capability development within the team by identifying skill gaps and facilitating knowledge sharing.
