Act as the primary QA representative for the APAC region, safeguarding and driving customer interests across the full Ingredients portfolio. The role ensures that Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) performance consistently meets customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and FrieslandCampina standards, while enabling commercial success in the region. You serve as the trusted QA partner for regional customers, translating customer needs into actionable improvements across manufacturing sites, supply chain, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities
A. Customer Ownership (APAC)
- Act as the primary QA contact for customers in APAC, including key strategic accounts
- Represent the voice of the customer internally and ensure alignment across sites and functions
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships at QA level
- Lead QA-QA interactions, customer meetings, and performance reviews
B. Customer Requirements & Compliance
- Translate customer-specific requirements into internal standards and processes
- Ensure all products meet:
- Customer specifications
- Local APAC regulations
- FrieslandCampina quality standards
- Perform gap assessments and ensure timely implementation
C. Complaint, Issue & Crisis Management
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex customer complaints
- Drive root cause analysis and CAPA implementation across sites
- Act as QA lead in crisis situations impacting APAC customers
- Ensure clear communication and customer reassurance
D. Continuous Improvement & Performance Management
- Use customer feedback and KPI trends to drive structural improvements
- Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives with:
- Manufacturing sites
- Supply chain
- Commercial teams
- Implement PDCA-based improvements to elevate performance
E. Audit & Risk Management
- Coordinate and lead customer audits in APAC
- Ensure strong audit performance and CAPA follow-up
- Assess QA risks across the supply chain and proactively mitigate
F. NPD & Change Management
- Provide QA input in NPD and product change projects
- Ensure QA risks are identified and mitigated early ("quality by design")
- Review and approve product releases for APAC markets
Knowledge & Experience
- Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
- 7–10 years experience in QA within food/ingredients/pharma
- Strong knowledge of:
- Food Safety & Quality systems
- International regulations (APAC is a plus)
- Ingredient applications and processes
- Experience with customer-facing roles and stakeholder management
