What we Ask

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5–8 years' experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Excellence, or Project Management within FMCG or manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Proven experience leading cross-functional improvement projects and change management initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvement plans
• Experience in project governance, stakeholder management, and performance reporting
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and training skills
• Lean Six Sigma certification is an added advantage

Vacancy Description

1. Project Management Office & Coordination:

Coordinate work streams, sub-work streams, project teams, and consultants to ensure effective collaboration and successful project implementation. Facilitate alignment across functions and promote knowledge sharing to drive operational excellence across the plant.

2. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement:

Lead the deployment of FrieslandCampina's Our Way of Working (OWOW) and operational excellence initiatives. Drive improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, waste reduction, maintenance efficiency, labour optimization, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

3. Project Implementation & Governance:

Support, direct, and coordinate project implementation activities across the plant. Ensure effective project tracking, reporting, governance, and execution of improvement initiatives in line with business objectives.

4. Problem Solving & Performance Improvement:

Apply Lean, DMAIC, 5 Why, and other continuous improvement methodologies to identify gaps, solve operational challenges, and deliver measurable business results.

5. Plant Support & Internal Consultancy:

Provide analytical support and expert advice to plant leadership. Support decision-making through performance analysis, implementation of quick-win initiatives, and identification of long-term improvement opportunities.

6. Change Management & Culture Development:

Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting awareness, engagement, and adoption of operational excellence principles throughout the organization.

7. Capability Building & Coaching:

Develop organizational capability through training, coaching, and mentoring on Lean principles, continuous improvement tools, performance management, and team effectiveness. Coach Production Managers, Team Leaders, and Shift Leaders to strengthen problem-solving and leadership capabilities.

8. Communication & Performance Reporting:

Coordinate operational reviews, improvement meetings, and project reporting. Ensure effective communication of progress, results, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
