As Business Controller Global Quality controller you play a key role for FrieslandCampina to have full view of our total quality costs and effective quality resource and investment allocation across the globe. You work closely with the Global Quality Management Team, advising on strategic choices related to the quality function while ensuring robust financial insights and strong cost control. As a trusted partner to Global Quality and the business, you oversee a €120/130 million euro portfolio, driving cost optimization, value creation, and measurable business impact through influence and proactive stakeholder management. 

The base of the function can be in Amersfoort or other FC locations in the Netherlands, weekly presence onsite in Leeuwarden is required.  

What we ask 

In this role you will work closely with a high variety of stakeholders within the Global Quality department. This position covers 3 distinctive subfunctions (QC including LQS, QA IFT/Pharma, and Global QA) within the Quality function with unique and pressing agendas.

We are therefore looking for an experienced proactive professional, with strong communicative skills. Who has proven track record in advancing reporting and performance and owning direct and end-to-end financial responsibility.

• Masters, with minimum of 10 years working experience in finance.
• Fluent in English, proficiency in Dutch is preferred.
• Strong advisory and influency skills
• Strong analytical skills 
• Experience with SAP, PowerBI en Excel

In this position you are the finance business partner to the Global Quality organization, responsible for quality cost transparency, business case support, Performance+ governance, savings validation, reporting, and providing financial decision support for global quality initiatives.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Act as finance business partner to the Global Quality organization and Quality Directors.
• Create, own and generate insights into global Quality costs; periodic reporting, highlighting areas for concern and propose potential actions
• Supporting in preparations of business cases, cost tracking and financial validations
• Key challenger / sounding board to all savings initiatives especially P+, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, and their clear tracking into the P&L
• Participate in decision making, for any change/reduction in testing, insourcing, outsourcing, cost-benefit trade-offs; bring a holistic financial perspective to Quality decisions
