As a Team Laeder PtP Content & VMD you will lead and optimize the end-to-end Procure-to Pay (PtP) activities in EMEA in line with strategy, policy and guidelines in such a way that the operational and tactical PtP processes run efficiently and effectively meeting the agreed service levels ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.  

You will organize and manage the department effectively and continuously optimize to improve quality with less costs. Being responsible for meeting KPIs, Continuous Improvement (CI) targets, providing leadership, people management and coaching to the team members through leading performance.

Job Description: 

What we ask:

  • Bsc or Masters Degree in Finance/Business Administration or equivalent  
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement Vendor Master Data management and SAP content Management (catalog, contract) within an international and multicultural environment

  • At least 2+ years of leadership experience with people management in a managerial position  

  • Knowledge of Procurement applications and processes 

  • Knowledge of ERP systems  (SAP, Coupa)  

  • Shared service experience in food & beverage is an advantage

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, influencing and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong people & stakeholder management in a multicultural environment 

  • Digital & automation literacy: knowledge of PtP and office applications 

  • Excellent English and any additional European language is an advantage 

  • Analytical skills - Data driven decision making

Vacancy description:

1. Contract & Catalogue Management team scope: 

  • First line of support on PtP system (SAP/Coupa) for operational contract content related issues 

  • Proactively monitoring outdated prices/contracts and data inconsistency and initiating timely updates with Category/Business Procurement or S2C 

  • Maintenance of operational contract master data and works together with Enterprise Data to keep the contract master data updated in the  systems

  • Supporting Global Procurement with non-price mismatch blocked invoice resolution by facilitating discussions with the P2P operational teams

  • Monitoring direct blocked invoice trends, identifies, analyses and logs root causes, initiates elimination projects with peer departments

  • Vendor Management team scope: 

  • First line of support on PtP system (SAP/Coupa) master data related questions  

  • Timely maintenance of vendor master data including new requests, change, extension and deactivation/deletion. 

  • Vendor master data maintenance and cooperation with Enterprise Data to keep the vendor master data updated

  • Execution of the Bank account verification process

  • Payment terms maintenance of vendors in the system

  • Onboarding of suppliers

  • Acting as SPOC for vendor master data related issues

Project and process optimalization:

Lead continuous improvement in the ways of working within the team and the daily operations, interactions with other key stakeholder teams with the outlook to drive further efficiency across the team 

Budget: 

Translate the overall FrieslandCampina strategy and PtP input into a year plan/budget for the PtP team as part of the GBDS organization and acquire approval. Ensure implementation and assessment of the financial (year) plan/budget for the department that is aligned and approved by GBDS LT. 

Reporting and Management information: 

Provide insights in MBR/SPR at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on reporting principles. 

People management: 

Leads, coaches, mentors, develops and appraises employees within own team through leading performance.  

Empowers people by making sure the decisions are made on the lowest possible level of the organization.

Completes regular performance evaluation and personal development related discussions.
