The purpose of our T&E Team Leader position is to lead and develop the Travel & Expense team at the Budapest GBDS hub, driving operational excellence, meeting key performance targets, and fostering continuous improvement. In this role you will collaborate closely with a wide network of internal partners (including P2P Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, and internal control) while managing relationships with external suppliers, system providers, and auditors.
What we ask:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent is an advantage
- 4+ years of experience in Procurement or Accounts Payable within an international and multicultural environment
- At least 2+ years of leadership experience with people management in a managerial position
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Coupa)
- Shared service experience in the food & beverage sector is an advantage
- Excellent and comprehensive E2E PtP process knowledge
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Strong people & stakeholder management skills in a multicultural environment
- Digital & automation literacy: knowledge of PtP and office applications (Excel, PowerBI, Coupa, SAP, Basware)
- High degree of autonomy
- Continuous improvement mindset, ability to drive change
- Result driven with 'can do' attitude
- Excellent English skills (Dutch or any additional European language is an advantage)

Vacancy description:
Daily management of T&E claims via MXP, HCM, manual forms, emails, and SharePoint within Operational KPIs/SLAs:
- Ensure employees' claims are compliant with the employee claim policy
- Daily monitoring of claims via ServiceNow
- Perform claim validation for cash claims, credit card and cash advances
- Preparation of JV for cash claim, credit card and cash advance
- Perform credit card reconciliation and clearing
- Preparation of ICF claim-related reports
- Lead and contribute to the development/changes of the global/local T&E policy
- Work with Procurement team to discuss and align on the T&E buying channel
- Coordinate activities and priorities tasks within medium/high complex contexts
- Monitoring process performance and workload daily to identify actions and solutions
- Maintaining documentation following local legislation and company policies
- Ensuring the execution of tasks in line with the internal control framework
Project and process optimalization:
- Secure an optimized team in T&E and drive it to a standard way of working
- Identify bottle necks in (work) processes, provide proposals on improvement opportunities, ensure implementation after approval and track progress
- Lead continuous improvement in the ways of working within the team and the daily operations, interactions with other key stakeholder teams with the outlook to drive further efficiency across the team.
Budget:
- Translate the overall FrieslandCampina/Finance/Procurement strategy and PtP input into a year plan/budget for the PtP team as part of the GBDS organization and acquire approval
- Ensure implementation and assessment of the financial (year) plan/budget for the department that is aligned and approved by GBDS LT
