The purpose of our Senior Vendor Master Data Specialist position is to ensure that vendor masterdata management and related supporting activities are delivered with the highest efficiency, on time, aligned with stakeholders and in line with PTP targets and objectives. The Senior Vendor Master Data Specialist makes sure the team members have the right level of knowledge, equipped with tools and are aware of the directions of the team. The senior VMD Specialist distributes the work in an efficient way and is driving process improvement and efficiency in different dimensions, while acting as first POC for escalations.

What we ask:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management/Procurement or Business Administration or equivalent is an advantage
• At least 3-4 years of experience in the Procurement/Procure to Pay function within an international company or SSC environment
• Vendor master data maintenance experience
• Knowledge of Procurement applications and processes
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Coupa)
• Excellent English skills (Dutch or any additional European language skill is an advantage)

Vacancy description:

• Ensures timely maintenance of vendor master data including new requests, change, extension and deactivation/deletion
• Perform Vendor Bank Account Verification, maintains payment terms of vendors in the system
• Monitor data quality
• Execute mass inactive vendor activities
• Generate relevant reports when necessary
• Monitor data flows from SAP to DSP to Coupa
• Acts as SPOC for vendor master data related issues
• Executes onboarding of suppliers to Citi (SFC) platform
• Acts as first line of support on PtP systems (SAP/Ariba/Coupa/Smartbuy)
• Execute tasks as per ICF framework
• Delivers end user trainings on systems and processes
• Acts as coach for Specialist in the team on hard skills for vendor master data
• Backs up the team lead in his/her absence
• Ensure proper workload distribution in the team
• Acts as first point of escalation for team's scope
• Participates in/leads process optimization projects
• Participates in transition projects (system and scope), acting as key user or change owner
• Provides support in migration projects to ensure smooth transition of activities to the GBS, including trainings for new joiners and new business requesters
• Identifies bottle necks in (work) processes, provides proposals on improvement opportunities, participate in improvement initiatives and tracks progress
• Is an active team member in the PtP community in resolving cross team issues, taking ownership in an E2E cross functional, optimized process
• Supports discussion with internal stakeholders through StP reviews, act as second level escalation point
• Builds a strong governance vertically within the team as well as horizontally across the different business units and process and control teams
