We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented RTR Accountant to join our RTR Go-to-Market Accounting Team. This role requires solid experiences in accounting, ability of independent work and good insight into the go-to-market processes.
Vacancy description
- Acts as Collaboration Lead for OpCO/BG, owns OPM calls and Balance Sheet Review calls
- Ensure correct and timely Balance Sheet and the Profit & Loss reporting including tuning of all sub-ledgers, in line with FRC Accounting Rules (SHERPA). This includes also periodical delivery of compliant financial statements approved by respective OpCpo/BG representative.
- Ensure delivery and the communication of R2R activities as agreed in the Service Catalogue to the OpCpo/BG
- Ensure the coordination of the complete administration of Opco/BG
- Promote & when necessary enforce standard way of working in relation to the Local Organization
- Ensure the coordination of the internal communication within FSSC in relation to local organization outside Finance
- Responsible for timely and accurate and complete creation of the service requests related to RtR process.
- Perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses
- Participate in ensuring process integration and strong relationships with interdependent functions
- Participate and/or Lead in assigned projects – promoting effectiveness and efficiency in day-to-day operation.
- Perform activities in line with internal and external controls, regulations, compliance
- Oversee and mentor junior team members
What we ask - University/college degree in Finance/Accounting
- At least 5 years of finance/accounting experience in a multinational company or General Accounting or Record to Report experience at a Shared Service Centre environment
- At least 2 years of experience with relevant Go-To-Market processes (Stock in transit, freight, 3rd party accruals, suspense accounts clearing etc.)
- Fundamental knowledge of financial statement preparation; experience in consolidation
- Strong stakeholder management skills & project management experience
- IFRS and/or other EU GAAP experience is an advantage
- Excellent proficiency in English
- Experience with ERP/Reporting systems
- Proactive and “can do” mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt change
