We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented RTR Accountant to join our General Accounting Team. This role requires skills with appropriate professional experiences in accounting, ability of independent work and ability to make decisions on your own. Besides the regular and month-end closing activities, this role requires participation in process integration, in global and local projects, stakeholder management, and has responsibility in BS reconciliation as a reconciler.

Vacancy description

• Handle the financial accounting (accrual calculation, invoice allocation, reclassifications, FX revaluation, ad-hoc and recurring accounting requests)
• Manage the manual Journal Entry requests
• Perform the Balance Sheet reconciliations and review
• Manage the month end closing tasks
• Run the reporting activities
• Internal Control Compliance (ICFs)
• Handling audit queries

What we ask

• Bachelor’s degree in business economics/accounting - master’s degree in finance and accounting is an advantage
• At least 2-4 years of accounting experience in a multinational company or accounting firm
• IFRS and/or other EU GAAP experience is an advantage
• Basic MS Excel skills
• Basic SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent proficiency in English (Dutch or any additional European language skill is an advantage)
• Proactive and critical mindset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changes
• Ability to make decisions on own level
