Job Description: 

What we ask

  • The position is open for applicants with active or passive student status who can work as a trainee for at least 1 year
  • Relevant studies (e.g. Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain or similar) and/or work experience as a Procurement/PTP/Buyer trainee are an advantage
  • Fluent English (both oral & written) language knowledge is a must
  • User level knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), SAP experience is an advantage
  • Precision, ability to work under pressure and attention to details
  • Strong work ethics
  • Availability to work at least 25 hours/week
  • Flexibility

Vacancy description

Key responsibilities in our PTP Trainee position: 

  • Converting Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO)
  • Sourcing of purchase requisitions based on Procurement Policy, sourcing guidelines and Internal Control framework
  • Processes Indirect Materials & Services purchasing requests in Coupa/SAP PtP system
  • Supports the resolution of invoice mismatches on price
  • Monitors indirect blocked invoice trends, identifies, analyzes and logs root causes, initiates elimination projects with peer departments (Category/Business Procurement, Record-to-Report, IT, etc)
  • Changes the Purchase Orders if required
  • Acts as first line of support on PtP system (e.g. Coupa) related questions via e-mail/ticketing tools
  • Makes sure systems are kept clean and data is consistent
  • Ad hoc support of Buyer colleagues in the team
