For our Specialized Nutrition manufacturing site in Beilen， we are looking for a QC Manager & Performance. In this role， you lead and develop the QC & Performance team and are responsible for delivering reliable， validated quality data to ensure safe product release.
You define and execute test strategies and sampling plans， collaborate with internal and external laboratories， and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen process robustness and quality control effectiveness.

What we ask

• Strong people management skills with experience in leading， coaching and developing teams
• Bachelor’s degree (working and thinking level)， preferably in Food Technology or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in senior QC or QA roles; laboratory management experience is a plus
• Experience in the Infant Formula / Specialized Nutrition (IFT) sector is preferred
• Knowledge of statistics， IT tools and collaboration with R&D / Product Development
• Affinity with production processes and understanding of market applications and end‑use requirements.

Vacancy description

As QC Manager & Performance， you are responsible for delivering credible and timely quality data required for safe product release at the Beilen site. You ensure that quality control processes are robust， compliant and continuously improving， while enabling efficient operations and strong collaboration with key stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities include:
Reliable data for safe product release

-Ensuring all release parameters are tested using validated test methods
-Maintaining ISO 17025 accreditation for all laboratories involved in batch release
-Evaluating batch records and ensuring release decisions meet RFC SOPs， specifications and Regional Supply Chain and Market requirements
-Informing QA Operations Managers about potential delays in analyses

Test strategy and execution

-Defining and executing effective test strategies and sampling plans across the Beilen site
-Engaging and aligning with stakeholders within and outside the site (e.g. QA Release， Production， R&D， LQS)
-Establishing clear procedures for sampling， testing and reporting， including proper training of teams

Continuous improvement and performance

-Monitoring and reporting relevant QC KPIs and driving improvements in efficiency， cost and release lead time
-Delivering management information on test results， process performance and plant hygiene
-Organizing Q‑KPI review meetings and supporting prioritization of improvement initiatives
-Escalating non‑conformities to the Plant Management Team when required
-Supporting Business Management Reviews and training and coaching of production leads in close cooperation with CI & L&D

Operational leadership and support

-Leading and developing the QC & Performance team， ensuring accurate sampling， testing and reporting
-Managing human resources processes in line with FrieslandCampina HR policies， fostering a high‑performance and engaged organization
-Supporting site management during crisis situations with relevant quality data and analyses
-Contributing to internal and external audits and being responsible for internal audits across laboratories

You will be working in an enthusiastic QC team of 39 colleagues (QC Specialists， QC Officers and Lab Technicians).
You are part of the quality management team of the Beilen site and report to the QA/QC Manager of the location.
