We're currently looking for a Culinary advisor who will be responsible for driving growth and brand preference for Debic within the Spanish Horeca channel. The role combines culinary expertise, customer engagement, trend translation, and commercial collaboration to support customers, distributors, and the sales team.
The Culinary Advisor develops inspiring and profitable food and pastry solutions using Debic products, strengthens relationships with key operators and influencers, and acts as the culinary ambassador of the Debic brand in Spain.
Culinary Expertise & Customer Support
• Act as the culinary expert and ambassador for Debic in the Spanish Horeca market.
• Inspire chefs, pastry chefs and foodservice professionals through innovative applications and menu solutions.
• Develop recipes, concepts, and applications that demonstrate the value and versatility of Debic products.
• Provide technical advice and troubleshoot product performance challenges in professional kitchens.
Commercial & Customer Development
• Support the sales team in developing business opportunities with distributors, wholesalers, key operators, culinary schools, and chain customers.
• Participate in customer visits, presentations, workshops, and business development activities.
• Help build long-term relationships with key customers and foodservice influencers.
• Contribute to customer retention and acquisition through culinary expertise and value-added support.
Brand Activation & Marketing Support
• Deliver culinary demonstrations, workshops, trade fairs, customer events, and show cooking activities.
• Support local activation of marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Create engaging culinary content for customer presentations, social media, digital platforms, and trade publications.
• Represent Debic at industry events and relevant Horeca exhibitions.
Innovation & Trend Translation
• Monitor foodservice, dessert, and gastronomic trends.
• Translate market insights into relevant culinary concepts and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Innovation teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Test and validate new product concepts and applications.
Training & Capability Building
• Deliver product and application training to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Support onboarding and continuous development of sales teams through culinary education.
• Develop training materials, recipes, and best-practice guidelines.
Key Performance Areas
• Increase engagement and preference for the Debic brand among Horeca professionals.
• Deliver impactful customer demonstrations and culinary activations.
• Support commercial growth through culinary expertise and customer collaboration.
• Build strong relationships with key operators, distributors, culinary schools, and industry influencers.
• Identify and implement relevant culinary trends and innovation opportunities.
• Strengthen the culinary competence of customers and internal stakeholders.
What we ask:
Education & Experience
• Degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, Gastronomy, or equivalent professional culinary qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Horeca, pastry, foodservice, or professional kitchen environments.
• Strong expertise in savour cooking and desserts, bakery applications, dairy-based culinary solutions, and menu development.
• Experience delivering demonstrations, workshops, or culinary training is highly desirable.

• Good level of English (B2 minimum).
