Ensure the organization's annual asset preventive maintenance (PM) plan is organized, executed, and regularly updated in alignment with the department/plant strategy and applicable guidelines to achieve team objectives.
The primary responsibility is to plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive maintenance activities among the Maintenance, Production, Planning teams, and suppliers. Regularly follow up with stakeholders on pre- and post-preventive maintenance findings, and ensure all PM activities commence and are handed over according to the agreed schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and maintain task lists, maintenance plans, and Bills of Materials (BOM) in SAP.
- Ensure the quality of maintenance notifications and work orders (WO) through regular training and one-on-one coaching for the Production and Maintenance teams.
- Keep maintenance plans up to date in SAP based on problem-solving outcomes, continuous improvement initiatives, machine modifications, and new installations.
- Develop and manage the annual preventive maintenance (PM) budget by translating the PM plan into budget requirements.
- Schedule preventive maintenance activities in coordination with the PM team.
- Manage Asset Care (TRACC) by regularly updating evidence, action plans, and progress.
- Participate in OWOW – Asset Care as a Best Practice Champion.
- Lead the end-to-end planning of plant shutdowns, including resource planning, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder alignment.
- Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance performance reports, including Maintenance KPI performance against targets.
- Review and confirm all preventive maintenance activities planned for the upcoming week, month, and quarter, ensuring manpower, spare parts, and schedules are in place.
- Follow up on actions arising from pre- and post-preventive maintenance activities to ensure timely closure.
- Develop and maintain a rolling 2–12-week preventive maintenance forecast, aligning planned downtime with the Production and Planning teams.
- Organize and facilitate pre- and post-preventive maintenance meetings with Tetra Pak and SIG.
- Communicate weekly and monthly maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance notifications, to relevant stakeholders.
- Chair weekly maintenance meetings, as well as bi-weekly and monthly performance review meetings with outsourced service providers (e.g., TP, SIG, PSS, and Modu).
- Coordinate maintenance-related audits and ensure compliance with maintenance standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, or maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proficient in SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), including maintenance plans, work orders, notifications, task lists, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, asset management, shutdown planning, maintenance budgeting, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., TRACC, TPM, or Lean).
- Excellent planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across Production, Maintenance, Planning, and external service providers.
