The Distribution Manager will play a key role in leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain, transport, and warehouse operations to ensure safe, seamless, and cost-effective product movement. Manage 3PL partnerships, optimize transport planning, and drive operational excellence while ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and statutory requirements.

• Technical & System Proficiency: Deep understanding and functional knowledge of modern supply chain software, inventory management systems, and logistics tracking tools.
• Operational & Logistics Expertise: Sound knowledge of end-to-end warehouse workflows, transport routing, delivery scheduling, and inventory control processes.
• Strategic Problem-Solving: Ability to apply an analytical approach to swiftly diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve delivery delays, transport disruptions, or inventory discrepancies.
• Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and coordination skills to facilitate smooth, frictionless engagement across suppliers, drivers, clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflows, timely execution, and smooth supply chain operations.
• 3PL & Vendor Management: Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers and external partners, monitor service level agreements (SLAs), address operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Logistics & Transport Optimization: Coordinate transportation activities and optimize delivery schedules to improve capacity utilization, reduce transit time, and ensure timely product delivery.
• Financial & Cost Control: Monitor departmental budgets and operating expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage logistics costs while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.
• Team Management & Capability Development: Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics team members, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting the achievement of departmental objectives.
• Safety, Health & Statutory Compliance: Ensure warehouse and logistics operations comply with applicable health, safety, statutory, and industry requirements, while promoting a strong safety culture across the team.
