To be a successful Supply Network Planner, you have/ are:
• Bachelor (HBO) or Master (WO) degree;
• Minimum 2-4 years working experience;
• Knowledge of production and logistics in an FMCG / Food environment;
• Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems (preferred SAP R/3, APO DP/SNP, BW, optional: OMP);
• Strong analytical and communicative skills;

Vacancy description:
As Supply Network Planner, you are responsible for creating the optimal supply network plan for the assigned product portfolio. The supply network plan is based on the latest demand, planning parameters, inventory levels to realize the requested performance while maximizing value for FrieslandCampina. In this function you are working closely together with other disciplines including Make Production, Quality Control, Demand & Goods Movement managers, finance and Order Fulfilment.
Key areas of responsibility are:
- Prepare and optimize the operational and tactical (1-18 months) planning for the assigned product portfolio.
- Prepare and optimize continuously the plan by balancing demand, inventories and production and packaging capacities.
- Discuss and acquire agreement with the related parties.
- Identify constraints and opportunities as input for S&OP. Participate in the tactical supply review as part of the S&OP process. Perform complex scenario analyses and support financial decision making for own scope of planning.
- Discuss plant performance, maintenance plans and capacities with your plant periodically.
- Manage inventory: replenish relevant stock levels, follow up on aging stock and obsoletes.
- Monitor the realized performance compared to budget, planning and parameters and, when necessary, perform a root cause analysis, set priorities and take corrective actions in agreement with the related party
- Observe and evaluate bottlenecks and identify opportunities and improvement actions in supply chain related (work) processes, planning systematics, procedures and/or systems, and ensure implementation of improvements after approval.
- Coordinates / participates in assigned (supply chain, cross functional) projects (e.g. NPD, improvement)

In this role you report to the Manager Supply Network Planning and you are part of the FCI S&OP team, a team of total 11 FTE. Your workplace will be the plant Veghel and Amersfoort combined with work days from home.
