What we ask
• Academic or Master’s degree
• 3–5 years of experience with a proven track record in business development, preferably within the food or feed ingredients industry
• Strong customer and account management capabilities combined with a structured and analytical mindset
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and self-driven, with the ability to take ownership and drive projects forward
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to win and deliver impact
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Willingness to travel within the Netherlands up to 10% of the time
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management and the dairy industry

Employment benefits:
• Salary between €4,550 and €6,000 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
• A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.
• Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card and/or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way).
• 200 hours of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 hours.

Vacancy description
In this role, you take full ownership of your accounts from strategy to execution. You build and strengthen long-term partnerships, lead negotiations and contracts, and identify new business opportunities aligned with FrieslandCampina Ingredients’ long-term strategy, while ensuring operational excellence in day-to-day execution.Success in this role means maximizing commercial value by steering existing long-term supply agreements and unlocking new opportunities with partners and emerging end markets. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure agreements are effectively managed and optimized. Dutch and English language skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, building strategic partnerships with key accounts
• Secure business continuity for production sites while steering long-term profitability and identifying new commercial opportunities
• Take the lead in ensuring long-term pricing agreements are properly embedded, managed, and updated on time
• Own forecasting, factory alignment, and the S&OP process in close collaboration with Supply Chain teams
• Analyze market and customer trends and translate insights into impactful account plans and joint business plans
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and other business lines to drive business success
