As Market Intelligence & AI Insights Manager, you will play a central role in unlocking future growth across our Early Life Nutrition portfolio. By combining advanced analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and digital intelligence tools, you will identify the trends, opportunities, and signals that matter most, transforming complex data into actionable insights that influence innovation, portfolio strategy, and business decision-making. You will help the organization anticipate market shifts, understand emerging customer needs, and navigate competitive developments, enabling faster, smarter decisions in a rapidly evolving global market.

Job Description: 

What we ask

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Food & Consumer Sciences, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or another relevant discipline.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Market Intelligence, Market Research, Business Insights, Strategy, Marketing, or Data Analytics.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience with competitor analysis, customer insights, consumer insights, market assessment, market mapping and trend forecasting.
  • Knowledge of market intelligence and analytics platforms such as Nielsen, Euromonitor, Mintel, GlobalData, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Experience leveraging AI, Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, and AI-driven automation to accelerate market intelligence, insight generation, and decision-making, combined with an understanding of responsible AI principles, governance, and data privacy.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, including data analysis, visualization, and executive-level storytelling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in a B2B environment is considered a plus.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is considered a plus but not a mandatory requirement.

Employment benefits:

  • Salary between €4,550 and €6,000 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
  • A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.
  • Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card and/or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way).
  • 200 hours of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 hours.

Vacancy description

As Market Intelligence & AI Insights Manager for Early Life Nutrition, you are responsible for generating customer, competitor, consumer, and market insights that support strategic decision-making across the business. You identify growth opportunities, monitor market developments, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for product strategy, portfolio management, innovation initiatives, and commercial execution. 

You leverage advanced analytics, AI-enabled research tools, and Generative AI capabilities to accelerate insight generation, strengthen forecasting capabilities, and improve business decision-making. You continuously evaluate new sources of market intelligence and emerging technologies to enhance the quality, speed, and accessibility of insights across the organization. 

You contribute to value proposition development, lead market intelligence projects, and help strengthen FrieslandCampina Ingredients' market position through data-driven insights. In addition, you help develop and implement intelligent market intelligence solutions, including Microsoft Copilot capabilities, AI agents, and automated insight workflows that support competitor tracking, trend monitoring, executive reporting, and knowledge management. 

Your analyses support innovation, strategic account planning, portfolio management, and execution of marketing activities on a global scale while enabling teams to make faster, more informed decisions. 

Job Description Footer: 

You will be part of the Early Life Nutrition Marketing organization, working closely with Innovation Marketing, Regional Marketing, Science & Content Marketing, Product Group Management, Business Development, Sales, and R&D teams. 

The Market Intelligence function provides global support to the Early Life Nutrition business by delivering insights on customers, competitors, consumers, scientific developments, and industry trends to enable sustainable growth and successful innovation. 

As part of the team's digital transformation journey, you will help drive the adoption of AI-powered intelligence capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot agents, and automated insight solutions, to shape the future of strategic decision-making within Early Life Nutrition.
