As an RPA intern within Milk Logistics, you will work on real-life business processes and help automate manual activities. You will analyze and map current processes (Value Stream Mapping) and design a working RPA solution based on your own prioritization research.This internship focuses on RPA and process automation primarily using Microsoft Power Automate within a Microsoft 365 environment. (Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, Excel).

Within our department, we are working on transporting the raw milk available from FrieslandCampina's dairy farmers to our factories as efficiently as possible. Maintaining an overview of our quality requirements requires a great deal of administration. Currently, this involves a lot of manual work. By automating these processes, we will spend less time and improve our overview.To improve communication with our carriers, we are starting to set up a carrier portal. Its purpose is to facilitate and streamline the exchange of data (PowerBI dashboards, freight documents, certificates). The goal is to be able to automatically extract the necessary data from the documents and determine the next step, using Power Automate. A concrete example: we receive weekly certificates from a laboratory via email. The carrier must be informed, and based on the results, it may be necessary to schedule a new test. The goal of this internship is to reduce manual administrative work by designing and implementing at least one working RPA solution within Milk Logistics.
