What we Ask
- Students in final year of bachelor study or in a master’s programme in the field of Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field
- GPA 7 and plus
- Able to think logically to turn a business question into a data question and able to build a data analysis to find answers
- A team player, innovative, eager to learn and can communicate clearly
- Able to program in R or Python and have some experience in working with data (can conduct basic data operations such as cleaning, aggregation, joins etc.)
- Experience in doing linear and logistic types of regressions
- Strong academic understanding of correlation and causality and conceptionally understand methodologies for identifying causality
- Some knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing and/or Gen AI is highly appreciated

Potential topics may include but not limited to: What are the behaviours we need to have as a company and as leaders in order to drive diversity and inclusion? Is the manager capability building programme effective? Can we use (Gen) AI to make the operations of HR Service more efficient?
You will work with your supervisor at Frieslandcampina to discuss potential topics to study and select the ones that add best value to the company and also are mostly interesting to you. It is expected that you will will be involved in multiple topics. You can of course also offer your ideas. You will then process the data (you will receive support to obtain the data), do the analysis and present results. You are required to adhere strictly to FrieslandCampina’s data privacy requirements while working with the data.Besides these studies, you will have the opportunity to contribute to other projects within the team if there are mutual interest, for example, contributing to our AI initiatives, data quality improvement or improving manager experience in reporting.
