Within the S&OP Planning function of our Global Supply Chain, we are looking for a Global Statistical Demand Specialist to further elevate our global statistical demand planning capabilities.

By improving forecast accuracy, we improve service levels, reduce lost sales and write-offs, and unlock working capital through optimized inventory levels across the supply chain.

What we ask

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Affinity with data, analytics, and statistics, and willingness to further develop these capabilities (a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Econometrics, or a related field is a plus)
• Understanding of customer supply chain and demand planning processes

Employment benefits:

• Salary between €3,900 and €5,250 gross per month (full-time)， depending on experience and fit for the role.
• A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.

The Global Statistical Demand Specialist focuses on the following areas:

1. Drive global adoption of statistical forecasting

• Your primary goal is to increase the adoption and effectiveness of data-driven forecasting across FrieslandCampina's global planning community.
• You create and continuously improve robust statistical baseline forecasts for different business segments and markets.
• You work closely with local Demand Planning teams to ensure statistical forecasting is fully embedded in daily planning processes and decision-making.
• You act as a change agent, supporting planners and stakeholders in embracing data-driven forecasting and helping them translate insights into actions.

2. Establish and maintain collaboration with local demand planning teams

• You maintain strong relationships with local Demand Planning teams across our global organization and you regularly engage with planners to review performance, discuss business insights, and translate findings into improvement opportunities.
• Together with local teams, you help maintain forecasting parameters and relevant master data to ensure forecasting quality.
• You actively share best practices and lessons learned across markets.
• As part of the Global Forecasting Team, you contribute to standardizing forecasting processes, governance, and ways of working globally.

3. Continuous improvement and business impact

• You are responsible for continuously improving forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and the overall value generated by statistical forecasting.
• You monitor forecasting performance and identify opportunities for improvement through data analysis and business feedback.
• Working closely with Data Science and Digital teams, you help identify opportunities to further enhance forecasting models through advanced analytics, AI/ML, and demand sensing capabilities.

The Global Forecasting Team is part of the Global S&OP organization. You will join a diverse, ambitious, and highly collaborative team and report directly to the Global Forecasting Lead.
